History

BG Global (Proprietary) Limited was established early 2010, as a mineral exploration and power generation firm, with a principle focus on the development of coal, manganese, PGM assets and waste-to- energy solutions within the South African economy. With background roots from the Eastern Cape, BG Global’s portfolio has evolved substantially over the past few years and has become a well- diversified private equity investment firm with interests in mining, exploration, mining services, energy, manufacturing, and property.

Leadership

Banzi Giyose II is a South African businessman and mining entrepreneur with comprehensive competencies, which include mining- specific acquisitions, capital raising as well as the development of resource studies, mineral exploration feasibility test-work across different commodities. Giyose II has played a significant role in the origination, establishment and project development of several junior mining firms in South Africa, namely, Lephalale Coal Mines (Coal & Power), Dedicoal (Coal), Oakleaf Resources (Coal, Gold & Chrome), and Umndeni Coal Beneficiation (Diversified).
